Tour I: "History of the University of Granada through its buildings".
Description of the visit:
Granada, like many historic cities, has numerous heritage buildings. The University of Granada (UGR) has been one of the institutions that has opted most for the rehabilitation and protection of these buildings, turning a large number of them into faculties and schools. The real estate that is part of the heritage of the University of Granada is characterized by its broad chronological framework - from the 16th to the 21st centuries - and its typological and stylistic variety. In charge of specialized personnel, the most relevant historical and artistic aspects of this heritage will be shown.

Tour II : "Night Visit to the Albaicín"
Description of the visit:
Granada y más is a Balea Travel,´s project, an agency specializing in Granada's heritage experiences, tours and guided visits by tourism and art history professionals.
On this special occasion for the III International Congress of Psychobiology, Balea have designed a special itinerary is you like to feel the history through the thousand-year-old quarter of Albaicín (World Heritage Site by UNESCO).
In this guided tour, the most emblematic and essential places of the neighborhood have been chosen, both for their historical character and for their artistic and patrimonial value (streets, buildings, viewpoints, etc.).
You will be accompanied by a guide specialized in the interpretation of the place. For this reason, the guide will have a speech based on historical events related to the city of Granada, legends, stories and chronicles inherited from the albaicinero folklore both oral and written, as well as the artistic-cultural value of a heritage that has left its mark on the identity of a whole neighborhood.

- Degree of the difficulty of the ride: It is a section of 2 and a half kilometres with slopes and steps. Therefore, there is a medium degree of difficulty for people over 70 years old.
