Submission Guidelines

Please prepare a .docx version of the manuscript for submission. The first page is the Title page and should include the title of the paper, the names of the authors, their University, Department and e-mail addresses, as well as other information that the authors wish to include (funding, acknowledgements, etc.). The second page should begin with the title of the paper, followed by the abstract and three to five keywords.

It is recommended that the papers should not exceed 10,000 words, including references, tables and appendices. The rest of the elements of the paper, including its format, are free style, although always respecting the rules usually used for scientific articles.

The text of the manuscript to be sent to the conference can be in English or Spanish. If it is in Spanish, the abstract must necessarily be in English since, after the conference, a book of proceedings will be published with all the abstracts of the accepted papers.

The abstract of the paper should not exceed 200 words and should include an introduction describing the background and importance of the study, the methodologies, as well as the main conclusions of the study. All symbols used in the abstract should be defined. Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if they are essential, they should be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. Bibliographic citations should also be avoided, but if essential, the author(s) and year(s) should be cited. Do not cite figures, equations or tables in the abstract. Make sure your abstract is free of plagiarism. Please proofread your abstract for grammatical errors, typographical errors, spelling and punctuation mistakes.

Submission of the abstract constitutes consent to its publication in the abstract/proceedings book, published in open access through the University repository. Registered authors will receive a certificate of participation/author and conference materials. Authors who have registered in the online modality will receive the documentation by mail once the conference is over.

Accepted papers may be defended at the conference in Spanish or English.

Papers should be sent to M. Ángeles Baeza Muñoz: mabaeza@ugr.es
