How to get to Granada city:
Road, bus and taxi services run between Granada’s local airport (Federico García Lorca), 17 kilometres from Granada, and the city centre. The bus fare from the airport to the city centre is 3 euros. Taxis are also quite affordable (20-30 euros). This airport offers daily services to and from Madrid and Barcelona, and scheduled services to and from Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Milán, Manchester, London and París.
Another option is to fly to Málaga-Costa del Sol airport and then take a bus to Granada (www.alsa.es) or hire a private shuttle. The drive is approximately 2 hours by bus and 1.5 hours by car.
