Mark D. Reckase is a University Distinguished Professor Emeritus of measurement and quantitative methods from the College of Education at Michigan State University.  In that position he has taught courses in psychometric theory and large-scale assessment procedures.  Professor Reckase has been the president of the International Association of Computerized Adaptive Testing (IACAT) and the National Council of Measurement in Education, and the Vice President of Division D of the American Educational Research Association.  He has been the editor of two journals: the Journal of Educational Measurement and Applied Psychological Measurement.  He is the author of a new book on standard setting, The Psychometrics of Standard Setting: Connecting Policy and Test Scores, that was published by Chapman and Hall/CRC in January 2023.
