Jimmy de la Torre is a Professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. His work in cognitive diagnosis models (CDMs) includes the development of various CDMs, implementation of estimation codes, and development of a general framework for model estimation, test comparison, and Q-matrix validation. He is an ardent advocate of CDM, and to date, has conducted more than three dozen national and international CDM workshops. He will be responsible for the theoretical component of the course.
Pablo Nájera is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, Universidad Pontificia Comillas. His work in CDM is focused on Q-matrix validation, CDMs for small sample sizes, cognitive diagnostic computerized adaptive testing, and R package and Shiny app development. He has facilitated multiple national and international workshops related to CDM and R programming. He will be responsible for the implementation component of the course.
